Stephen Pannell is one of Australia's most decorated winemakers, Jimmy Watson and twice Max Schubert Trophy winner, London International Winemaker of Year and Chairman National Wine Show. After years of self management, the ancient Garden Gully vines have been nursed back to health, for harvests of the most exemplary fruit. Penfolds Bin 128 Coonawarra Shiraz 2005 $29.99 / $359.00 12
[ Back ]
Currently out of stock
Shiraz by Penfolds of Coonawarra. There are background savoury charcouterie spice notes, ginger, white pepper and truffle, closely followed by detectable cedar and oak elements. Penfolds Bin 128 remains one of the purest editions within the Penfolds stable. A favourable growing season leading up to the 2005 vintage, Coonawarra experienced a cool dry summer, with the grapes ripening evenly and early. A great Shiraz to enjoy with roast standing sirloin and savoury barbequed pork.
