Considered a good wine from one of the most difficult vintages in memory for Max Schubert and Don Ditter. Rigorous grape selection saw one of the smallest Grange yields on record at 2300 cases. Penfolds»
Lenton Brae can justifiably claim to be one of Margaret River's leading proponents of the ebullient fusion between Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc, having claimed multi trophies and gold medals for the style at regional, state and national competitions. The site was chosen after a chance conversation with the owner of Moss Wood who mentioned that the soils were uniformly excellent and equal to those of the eminent vineyard nearby. Lenton Brae»
A vigorous diction of new world Chardonnay, framed within a tasteful veneer of judicious oak, crafted by an artisanal winery that's claimed best white and best red wine trophies, as judged amongst peers at the Mornington Peninsula Vignerons Association. Willow Creek offers a stylishly proportioned palate, finishing as crisp as the maritime winds which enthuse the Peninsula. Willow Creek»
David O'Leary really knows about things Cabernet Sauvignon, having claimed a Jimmy Watson Trophy and twice International Red Wine Maker of the Year. From low yielding vines up to fifty years of age, grown to superior sites within the Armagh Valley and Polish Hill River districts, the O'Leary Walker team create a powerful and complex, exquisitely perfumed and seamlessly layered Cabernet Sauvignon, framed by judicious oak and supported by graceful tannins, reflecting the idyllic growing climes of Valley Clare. OLeary Walker»
Carol and Tony Dunn established their McLaren Vale homestead to herds of angora goat in the 1990s. Conspicuous trophy victories and industry accolades however, proved unnegotiable at a time when the market for mohair and fine fleece was on the decline. Braydun Hill»
Richly stylized Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon, previously winner of the Stodart Trophy, made for many years by the family behind the illustrious Pepperjack. The story of this enduring wine dates back to 1844, when William Salter built a stone house for his family naming it Mamre Brook, after Abrahams spiritual home. Saltram»

Tahbilk's history with Marsanne can be traced back to the 1860s when White Hermitage cuttings were sourced from St Hubert Vineyard. The grapes in fact were Marsanne and although none of these plantings have survived, Tahbilk still produces Marsanne from ancient stock dating back to 1927, some of the oldest in the world. Tahbilk»

Jim Barry Armagh Shiraz 2004 $269.99 / $3237.00
[ Back ]
Shiraz by Jim Barry of Clare Valley. The palate is concentrated and shows rich extract, with ripe black cherry, licorice and mint, well integrated sweet oak and velvety tannins. Exceptional Langtons Classification. The moniker Armagh was bestowed by Irish settlers, who likened the lush rolling hill after their homeland. Decanting is necessary as the wine is unfiltered and a deposit will appear with age, Jim Barry suggests that the wine is allowed to breathe a minimum of two hours.
