Shiraz by Jim Barry of Clare Valley. The palate is concentrated and shows rich extract, with ripe black cherry, licorice and mint, well integrated sweet oak and velvety tannins. Exceptional Langtons Classification. The moniker Armagh was bestowed by Irish settlers, who likened the lush rolling hill after their homeland. Decanting is necessary as the wine is unfiltered and a deposit will appear with age, Jim Barry suggests that the wine is allowed to breathe a minimum of two hours.
