The High Trellis paddock has been yielding the most splendid vintages of wine since the late 19th century, so nicknamed as the vines were the first to be trained above knee height following acquisition of the property by dArenberg. For decades, High Trellis Cabernet Sauvignon has been released to unanimous critical acclaim by the wine industry press and international cognoscente. dArenberg»
Leasingham have remained at the fore of Clare Valley viticulture, making great wine since 1895. They have since established an endowment of the region's most auspicious vineyards. Leasingham»
An eminent Cabernet wine which can lay claim to coveted accolades such as Blue Gold Sydney International and Gold Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. Jacobs Creek retain South Australia's finest vineyards and aim to improve the quality of wine every year. Jacobs Creek»
Brookland Valley Estate made a conspiuous impression through their stirling efforts at Cabernet Merlot when they claimed several significant trophies, including the hotly contested Qantas Best Wine of Show. Expressing fully the generous palate structure and aromatic richness of the stylish Margaret River Cab Merlot accord, beautifully perfumed, bramble flavoured wine, brimming with the quality and elegance which has earned Brookland Valley Estate a five star reputation. The five most most exclusive parcels of old vine Shiraz, a secret component of the Barossa's most memorable vintages, hand picked off the De Fazio and Hillview vineyards at Belvidere and Moppa. Batches are crushed into traditional open top fermenters for a week of pumpovers, gently pressed into an extravagantly high proportion of new French oak hogsheads for two years maturation, followed by the final assemblage, unfiltered and unfined. Yealands Seaview Vineyard is exposed to some of the toughest growing conditions in Marlborough, high sunshine and billowing winds wind, cool nights and low rainfalls for a smaller, thicker skinned Pinot Gris of exciting intensity. Fruit from the relatively flat, coastal L6M block, provides a pure mineral elegance to the structural backbone. Yealands Estate»
Considered an undistinguished vintage, it won a trophy, five Gold, four Silver and six Bronze medals between 1974 and 1982.. . Penfolds»
Outstanding Langtons Classification. The locals around the Lovedale property say that the sandy soils are so poor, that even the rabbits have to bring a tucker box just to survive! The lean and mean terroir is elemental to the long lived, fine boned style. Mount Pleasant»
Twice Gold Medal Challenge International du Vin! Moscatel and Gewürtztraminer grapes, grown to estate vineyards on the mountains of the Upper Penedes, form the backbone of fruit for Viña Esmeralda, a delicate but strunningly fragrant wine. The dry fig and raisin characters of Moscatel de Alejandría give Esmerelda it's luscious and flavourful palate, fleshed out by the orange of Frontignac or Moscatel de Grano Menudo as the Spanish say, further enhanced by the complex aromaticness and spice of the vivacious Traminer.. Torres»
Excellent Langtons Classification. Elderton Command has established an enviable reputation, truly one of Australia's most esteemed flagship wines. Elderton»

Sherwood Estate's winery is located in the picturesque Waipara Valley, a 45-minute drive north of the city of Christchurch, where Sherwood Estate own four separate vineyards. Four further vineyards are also owned by Sherwood Estate in the famed Marlborough Region, at the top of the South Island.

Sherwood Estate is very much a personal family business, with Dayne and Jill owning and operating it since the late 1980s. These are • Claymore Vineyard Church Road • Whitestone Vineyard Georges Road • Weka Creek Vineyard MacKenzies Road • The Terrace Vineyard MacKenzies Road. This splendid array of prime vineyards are planted to Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Riesling and Chardonnay.

Further north are the estate's Marlborough vineyards: • Hammerichs Road Vineyard • Selmes Road Vineyard • Rowley Crescent Vineyard • Old Renwick Road Vineyard. These vineyards are planted to Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Based on nearly twenty years of growing grapes and making wine, Dayne and Jill Sherwood now specialise in Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling.

In the vineyards, the family and their vignerons are flat out supervising the contract teams around Marlborough and Waipara. Vines are covered with nets to protect the fruit from local fauna.

Sherwood Estate operate their own modern and fully equipped winery where all winemaking tasks are undertaken from crushing and pressing — through to bottling, under the careful guidance of the Senior Winemaker. Three ranges of wines are produced under the Sherwood umbrella. • The Clearwater Range • The Sherwood Estate Range • The Stratum Range

The Clearwater range represents the very best varietal single vineyard wines from our own vineyards in Waipara. This is very much a hand crafted range both in the vineyards and winery where meticulous care is taken to ensure that the wine produced is of the highest quality and reflects each vineyard’s unique characteristics or “terroir”. This range is unashamedly exclusive for those who appreciate the difference.

The Sherwood Estate range proudly carries the name of the winery and owners and so reflects Sherwood Estate’s commitment to the highest quality. The wines are varietally focussed from our own Marlborough and Waipara Vineyards as well as selected growers; this range is internationally acclaimed for its excellent quality/value ratio. The Stratum range is crafted by our winemaker to reflect intense varietal fruit flavours from classic varieties producing finished wines of consistently excellent quality and wide appeal.
