Take a lesson from the well versed Rosé rectors on the Cotes du Rhône and you'll be adding a measure of the arcadian Cinsault grape into your Grenache ferments, conceiving an animate and engaging ochre pink wine. Shiraz by Wolf Blass of Barossa Valley, Eden Valley, Adelaide Hills. There are long tannins, excellent structure and impressive length. Wolf Blass Platinum Label Shiraz 2003 has been judged as the World's Greatest Shiraz, in Winestates inaugural World's Greatest Shiraz Challenge. The 2003 vintage was warm and dry to begin, becoming milder later in the season. Caroline Dunn, Wolf Blass Senior Winemaker, said the wine shines as a result of careful fruit selection, given the challenging 2003 vintage.
