Richard Bailey planted one of the first Glenrowan vineyards in the 1860s. The Bailey estate survived the downturn of the Victorian gold rush, the ravages of phylloxera and excesses of the Kelly gang, it endures to this day, producing some of the nation's most intensely flavoured and historically significant wines. Baileys Glenrowan»

Semillon by Pertaringa of McLaren Vale. The palate is tight and structured yet has an attractive, creamy mouth feel due to time on lees. Bonfire Block was a dilapidated old vineyard site, destroyed by fire in the 1980s, she has been replanted to Semillon. Bonfire Block Semillon is fashioned into a real red wine drinkers white. Fresh lemon and lime fruits create a persistant and refreshing length, neatly supported by gentle French oak.
